Three steps from signed-out to your first recreation:

The studio shows live status as it works — scanning, reading, building, refining — and the page fills in as it goes. A faithful rebuild takes a few minutes; Reverse optimizes for fidelity over speed.

The entire product is one loop. You'll run it dozens of times per project. Every recreation follows the same beats:

• Sign in at /sign-in. Paste a URL — or a rebrand prompt plus a reference URL.
• Reverse scans the page (screenshot + 2× DPR strips + exact DOM text).
• It transcribes the page into a verbatim study doc, then builds one self-contained HTML document from it.
• It critiques the rebuild against the original and repairs the gaps before finishing.
• Refine with Markup / Edit in natural language; every change is snapshotted to version history.
• Export: download the .html, copy the code, or download a Next.js project ZIP.

Recreation always works from a reference page. Give Reverse a URL, or a prompt plus a reference URL to recreate it in your direction.

Before building anything, Reverse transcribes the page into a verbatim study doc and renders the rebuild from that — so the recreation matches the source instead of guessing at it. The study captures:

• sections[] — every content block, numbered in document order (nav, hero, features, footer…)
• copy — transcribed letter-for-letter from the page's live DOM, not paraphrased
• mocks — product UIs, charts, and dashboards described so they can be rebuilt as CSS + inline SVG
• palette — estimated hex tokens by role (background, headings, body, accents)
• typography — closest widely-available Google fonts, weights, tracking
• decisions — the rebrand (new wordmark) and a "design study — not affiliated" disclaimer

Reverse ships a library of real-world brand design systems — Linear, Stripe, Notion, Vercel, Supabase, and dozens more. Name one in a rebrand prompt and Reverse steers the recreation's look toward it.

Each brand's full spec is fetched at runtime from GitHub, so the library stays current without redeploys. Brand design systems sourced from VoltAgent/awesome-design-md (MIT).

A recreation is rebranded by default. To steer it, pass a prompt alongside the reference URL:

• Set the new brand name — "rebuild this as Northstar" — and Reverse replaces the source wordmark throughout.
• Set a direction — "warmer, more editorial" or "in Linear's design system" — to steer palette, type, and tone.
• The prompt feeds the study's "Decisions for the recreation" block before the build runs, so it shapes the rebuild rather than post-processing it.

Once a project exists, every variation has a Refine chat slot in Focus view. Open the variation, type the change, click Refine.

• Refinements are interpreted as additions to the original style brief, not full restarts.
• Position, favorite state, and ID are preserved — the variation updates in place.
• The previous state is automatically snapshotted to version history (no manual save needed).
• Iterate as many times as you like. Each refine creates one new version.
• Sample refinements: "tighter hero," "warmer accent," "more brutal," "Linear-like," "swap to mono-only."

Every refinement creates a snapshot. The history panel shows every version, ordered newest-first, with the refinement prompt that produced it.

• Click any version to preview it in the same iframe.
• Click Restore on a previous version to make it the current — your current state becomes the next snapshot automatically.
• History is per-variation, not per-project. Each variation has its own timeline.
• Versions are retained as long as the project exists. Deleting a project deletes its versions.

The recreation is one self-contained HTML document. Take it out three ways — all packaging, not regenerations.

• Download .html — the single self-contained document. Open it in any browser or drop it on any static host.
• Copy code — copy the full HTML source to your clipboard from the studio toolbar.
• Next.js project (ZIP) — a working scaffold built around the page: routes, layout, fonts. Run npm install && npm run dev after unzipping.
• All output is yours. Reverse retains no ownership and requires no attribution.

• Plans are metered in real LLM tokens, against a daily and a weekly budget. A budget covers many rebuilds.
• Reverse checks both windows before starting a generation; if either is used up, it's blocked until the window resets.
• The studio header chip and the account Usage tab show today's and this week's budget remaining.
• The daily window resets at 00:00 UTC; the weekly window resets each Monday 00:00 UTC. Max has the higher budgets.

All billing is handled through Stripe. Your card never touches Reverse AI — we only see anonymized customer and subscription IDs.

• Switch tier — /pricing → "Switch tier" → Upgrade to Max or Downgrade to Pro. Proration is computed on the next invoice.
• Update card / view invoices / cancel — /pricing → "Manage subscription" → Stripe customer portal opens.
• Cancellation behavior — access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your plan becomes inactive.
• Payment failures — Stripe automatically retries over a few days. Account is flagged past_due during retries. If retries exhaust, the subscription cancels.
• Refunds — 14-day money-back if you cancel within 14 days of the first paid month. Email support.

Reverse AI runs entirely on managed services. No infrastructure to babysit, no servers to patch.

• Next.js 15 (App Router) on Vercel — Fluid Compute Node 24 runtime.
• Postgres 17 via Supabase Supavisor (pgbouncer, transaction mode) for connection pooling.
• Prisma 6 as the ORM with the rhel-openssl-3.0.x engine targeted to Vercel's runtime.
• Clerk for authentication — email/password plus Google OAuth out of the box.
• Stripe for billing — Checkout, Customer Portal, subscription lifecycle webhooks.
• Anthropic Claude Opus for build + critique, OpenRouter (Gemini 2.5 Flash) for transcribe + edit — every call retries with backoff and falls back across both providers.
• JSZip for client-side and server-side ZIP packaging.
• Tailwind 3 with custom paper/ink palette and Fraunces / Manrope / IBM Plex Mono fonts.

For self-hosting or local development. In production these are auto-injected by the Vercel + Supabase + Clerk integrations.

• POSTGRES_PRISMA_URL — pooled Supabase connection string (port 6543, transaction mode + pgbouncer=true).
• POSTGRES_URL_NON_POOLING — direct connection (port 5432) for migrations.
• NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY + CLERK_SECRET_KEY — required for auth.
• ANTHROPIC_API_KEY — optional. Without it the app falls back to deterministic template renders.
• STRIPE_SECRET_KEY + STRIPE_PRICE_PRO + STRIPE_PRICE_MAX + STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET — required for real billing.
• NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_URL — the canonical site URL. Used in Stripe success/cancel URLs and OG metadata.
• Without Stripe keys the app runs in demo mode — pricing buttons instantly upgrade the user with no charge.

• Projects, variations, and version history are stored encrypted in Supabase Postgres, scoped to your account.
• Inputs (URLs, prompts, images) are sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic retains content per its commercial data policy.
• Card data is held by Stripe. Reverse AI never sees your card number, CVC, or expiry.
• To delete your account and all associated projects, email support. We complete deletion within 7 days. Stripe customer records are retained per Stripe's compliance requirements.
